Scholarship Program

A major objective of the OWB is to award scholarships to students enrolled in a full-time Enology, Viticulture, or Culinary Arts program with an emphasis on wine.

The following colleges and universities have programs which have been approved for participation in our scholarship program:

Central Oregon CC
Chemeketa CC
Mt. Hood CC
Oregon Coast Culinary Institute via Southwestern Oregon CC
Oregon State University
University California-Davis
Walla Walla CC

The awards have ranged from $500 to $3000 per year as long as the GPA was kept in the 3.00 range or better.

Applications are to be made through the Oregon Student Assistance Commission catalogue and funding is through the OWB account @ the Oregon Community Foundation. The major support for this account comes from our annual Barrel-Tasting Event usually held in September and from individual donations.
